PROFILES, NETS, AND TIES EXCELLENT ALLIES FOR TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
In this world where almost everything is now purchasable online with a simple “click” and where goods are delivered (almost) anywhere in the world in very short times, logistical efficiency and proper packaging are now key elements.
We are all aware that custom packaging would be the ideal solution but, in most cases, it is not feasible, both due to the often articulated shape of the product, and obviously due to the very high costs that would entail bespoke packaging for each item.
This is where elements such as foam profiles, tubular elastic nets, and plastic ties come into play, elements useful for activities involving transportation, storage, and protection of goods.
Articles of various materials and types, dedicated to the handling and storage of goods, solutions dedicated to their protection and suitable for a wide variety of items to be handled.
Made of expanded polyethylene (a strong, durable, lightweight, and flexible polyethylene foam), our profiles offer excellent performance in terms of strength, impact absorption, and thermal insulation.
They are easily cut and easy to apply or remove, and there are various solutions available: L or U profiles, ideal for protecting edges or profiles of sheet metal, mirrors, and glass; angular or 3 way profiles, suitable for protecting corners, edges, and profiles, O profiles for cylindrical objects, with a convenient longitudinal pre cut to create a bundling tube, and adhesive spacers (removable or permanent) ideal for creating t he right thickness of protection.
Another valid solution for protecting items during shipping or storage is represented by tubular nets. Made of polyethylene of different diameters and colors, easy to apply or remove and inexpensive, they are optimal as they prevent scratches or damage to chrome parts, painted parts, or delicate finishes.
Finally, we can choose from a rich variety of plastic ties that differ from each other based on color, conformation, and consequently, also usage. The most common in the logistics sector are certainly the classic tie wraps used to close bags or pouches, so that the goods do not disperse during transportation, foll owed by resealable ones, applied in cases where the closure must be temporary, or those with an indicator used when it is useful but, in some cases also necessary, to easily identify the content present in the bag.
